LETTER WRITERS ALLIANCE

L.W.A. Public Site
Here at the LWA we want to encourage everyone to write more letters.

Although we are a membership group, we have select L.W.A. items available to the public.

Members have access to a bevy of exclusive postal items & free downloads, so why not become one?

Talks, Lectures, and Classes
Kathy and Donovan are available for talks and events on letter writing, mail art, and other postal fun. From lectures on the history of letters to demonstrations on creating your own envelopes to private letter social parties, we have done it all.

Event FAQ
What is the difference between a workshop and a letter social?
Letter socials are a gathering where we let you tap away on typewriters. There is stationery, rubber stamps, and other mail art materials free for your use. Workshops are more structured and follow a lesson plan. You will learn how to do something new at a workshop and they will normally have a theme.

How much does it cost to attend?
Letter socials are free to attend. Workshops require RSVP or registration. Some workshops have a charge, but the price is noted if there is any fee. If you see no price listed, it is free.

Should I bring anything?
An address book and postage stamps. We do have some vintage postage for sale if you want to use some fancy looking stamps. You can also bring your own supplies, but we have all you need to leave with a ready to post letter.
